Eco-friendly Dorset Florist
We are eco-friendly
In a world of consumerism and waste I am dedicated to reducing the environmental footprint within my business. Here are a few of the ways I am developing my business to reduce our environmental impact:
Biodegradable sundries and packaging
Did you know our flower boxes, floral foam, and bubblewrap are all biodegrade? Although the cost of purchasing biodegradable sundries is higher, I feel this is very important for the future of our planet. I do not pass the costs onto my lovely customers as I feel this would unfair, as it is a personal business choice for me. I am always looking for ways to change and use innovative packaging options to reduce the wastage we produce.
Unique Handmade Paper Flowers
Another way I optimise the life cycle of my products is by creating my handmade paper flowers. Naturally sustainable, eco-friendly and allergen free they are also good for the planet. Paper flowers are fantastic for couples looking for a zero-waste wedding, plastic free wedding and/or sustainable wedding as they have a low carbon footprint and no water wastage. The joy of paper flowers mean seasonal blooms are available all year round without the guilt of having to have them flown in from across the other side of the world. The paper I use to create flowers comes in a range of colours which allows your paper wedding bouquet to be truly bespoke and match your theme. But to me to best part of paper wedding bouquets is they are everlasting flowers so you get to keep them after and enjoy for years to come.
